You don't have to keep pausing a book, like a youtube clip and you can really absorb the information better. Just learning from youtube as well as having the book means you have both a visual and written pathways to learning. I know around 18 songs from memory, can play a good many different barre chords up and down the neck and learnt 4 different scales so I can improvise solos to backing tracks as well as learnt a little music theory. Individually them they kind of encompass the two kinds of book I mentioned above (but in the best way I've ever seen), but together they form a well paced and structured set of lessons with theory and songs built to help you progress at a fast but steady pace, which coupled with Justins excellent website telling you how to do things and helpfully showing you what is right and wrong.
